Two practical presentations for amateur radio operators

Join us on Monday, November 10, 2025, for a double feature evening:

“What is a Multimeter and How to Use It” – by Nolan, VE4NOL

  • Learn the basics of multimeters, how they work, and practical demonstrations for testing voltage, resistance, continuity, and current.
  • Understand how to safely use this essential tool in your ham shack.

“GOES Satellite Weather Maps and Amateur Radio” – by Geoff, VE4AE

  • Discover how data from the NOAA GOES satellites can be applied to amateur radio.
  • See live weather maps, solar data, and how this information impacts HF propagation and operating conditions.

This is a hands-on evening of learning that will benefit both new and experienced operators.
